 The second festive institution in Xanthi is Old Town Festival, which takes place constantly since 1991 with the autumn’s coming. The biggest part of these events is realized at the traditional listed settlement of Xanthi, the so-called “Old Town”, through the alleys of which the hoods of the both culture and carnival clubs put up to offer food and drink. At those hoods of the clubs revelries are set up, while at the same time events are realized respective of those of the Carnival.
